2024 PROGRAM INFORMATION

Games will be played Sundays in The Dalles on the following dates:

• November 17, 24

• December: 1,8,15,22,28,29

2024 SEASON AGE GROUPS:

• 2017/18

• 2015/16 (and 2014 players in 4th Grade)

• 5/6 GRADE

• 7/8 GRADE

• HIGH SCHOOL SILVER (JV Level)

• HIGH SCHOOL GOLD (Varsity level)

Registration and League Rules:

• Team Sign Up - $350/Team

• 2017/18 age group is 4v4 and does not use goalies - there is a penalty box players cannot make contact with the ball inside.

• All other age groups are 4v4+ goalies (5v5). Goalies may not use hands when receiving a pass from their team - results in a goal kick for opposing team.

• Roster sizes will be limited to 9 players. Teams must play in the age group of their oldest player (Birth Year). NO EXCEPTIONS. Roster freezes before playoffs.

• No throw ins - instead there are in-direct kick ins. Opposing team must be 5 steps back. Players have 5 seconds to kick the ball into play.

• Kick offs ARE direct. All kick ins and fouls outside the penalty box are indirect.

• The penalty box is the 3-point basketball arc. On goal kicks, Goalies may throw the ball as far as they want in the court, but if they use their feet, they must complete a pass inside their own team’s half. If goalies put the ball down on a goal kick, the ball is live.

• You must have a minimum of 4 players to start a game (3 + 1 goalie). If a team is unable to start the game more than 7 minutes after the scheduled start time, the game will be forfeited.

• Teams with no subs may call 1 time out per half (must be in possession of ball).

• Teams may borrow players from another team in the same age group only until they have enough players for a starting line up (may not borrow players and have subs) . Players must chose 1 team per age group in playoffs - the player must have played for that team during regular season to feature in playoff game.

Playoff Format:

• 4 Team Age Group - after 6 week double play round robin, playoff will be standard seeding #1 vs #4, #2 vs #3 semi final, and winners play in the final.

• 5 Team Age Group - after 5 weeks of playing each team once, #1 Ranked team has automatic bye to semi final as the #1 seed. #2 ranked team plays #3 ranked team, #4 ranked team plays #5 ranked team. Points will be added to the season standings, and those final point totals will determine playoff seeding (#2, #3, #4), with one team being eliminated. No team can overtake the #1 ranked team from gained points on this final game day.

• 6 Team Age Group - after 5 weeks of playing each team once, #1 ranked team plays #2 ranked team, #3 ranked team plays #4 ranked team, #5 ranked team plays #6 ranked team. Points will be added to the season standings, and those final point totals will determine playoff seeding (#1, #2, #3, #4), with two teams being eliminated.
